We want to thank Donnita Hill and her team for the fantastic job they did on helping us sell our home. Like many others in today’s economy we wanted to downsize our home to fit our current lifestyle. We have a son in college and had more house then we needed. With the current market we expected about 6 months to sell our home. We contacted Donnita, after talking to several people that have sold and purchased recently, her name came up from that people that were most satisfied. We contacted her and had a meeting. She asked our needs and expectations. Form that meeting we chose a fair price that would generate the most attention. The house was sold in about 45 days when the average turn around on homes in this price range is about 200 days.

We thought we knew a lot about selling a home but things change, Donnita reminded us to factor in a few costs when selling a home that in the end saved us quite a bit of money. She informed us that everyone purchasing homes these days want a home warranty and require home inspections. No matter how nice your home is, a home inspector is being paid to find problems. If you have not factored this in, your negotiations after the inspection will be a problem. With Donnita telling us this beforehand we were prepared for this and made out quite well. There is a reason she has been so successful in her 34+ years in the business.

After the sale, the attention you get from her Closing Assistant in her office is exceptional also. There are always questions and she stays on top of the details. From beginning to end the process has been a pleasure and we definitely will use Donnita and her team for any real estate transactions in the future.

How do I begin to tell you about our experience with the Donnita Hill Realty Team? We have known Donnita for almost 30 years. She helped us find our first house in Cookeville 29 years ago. She was warm, professional, caring, and a wonderful person to work with back then and she remains so today. Well where to start, Donnita Hill and her team did a fantastic job selling my home. I had a history with Donnita Hill when she sold a property for a company I worked for. It was listed with another local Real Estate company and was rarely shown. Donnita Hill got it SOLD. I had recently lost my job after 10 years and knew I wanted to make a change.
